About Deli at 35

Deli at 35 is a  traditional delicatessen offering a wide range of foodstuffs from the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Continent and the Isle of Man

The owner Anne Keenan decided to set up the business as there was a gap for a proper delicatessen here on the Island as in recent years there has been a growing move by the public back to buying quality produce sold in specialist shops away from the large supermarkets.

The Deli’s product range includes many award winning artisan foodstuffs from small producers including wild salmon, wild tuna, and smoked eel from Ireland; cheeses, hams, pâtés, olives and  pastas from the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and France. The shop is stocked full of a wide range of foods you would expect in a top quality delicatessen. We also provide local seasonal produce.

Deli at 35 has endeavoured to source a wide range of "real foods" to meet the needs of discerning customers who care about where their food comes from. We are interested in its provenance and traceability and endeavour to offer the freshest produce with a constantly changing range of seasonal produce. With this in mind we also cater for the needs of babies and toddlers with an excellent range of organic and additive free food and drink ranges available.

The interior style and design of the double fronted shop front provide a modern bright inviting atmosphere.

Having chosen the Quay to set up the Delicatessen I thought it would be interesting to bring together the revamped Quay with historic images and scenes from the Quay of the past. Following a review of images of the old North Quay spanning back 120 years or so at the Manx Museum, we chose 5 photographs and a charming "giddy kipper" postcard as ideal decoration for the walls. These show that the North Quay was a bustling, busy market place and bring together the street scenes of yesteryear with the modern Deli  now there today re-establishing that commercial atmosphere.
